Frequently Asked Questions
-1. Is theater camp or class right for my child?
Campers must be between the ages of 6 and 18. Campers must be able to use the bathroom independently and attend camp independently without the support of an adult. Campers must be able to independently communicate with others either verbally or with an AAC device. We do not have enough staff to accomodate children with significant behavior issues or who need a 1:1 assistant.
2. What happens if I need to cancel my spot?
Half the tuition for each week of camp and for the 10 week theater class is a placeholder and non-refundable. The other half of tuition is refundable until 2 weeks before the first day of camp or class. No refunds will be given with less than 2 weeks notice. Campers may move to a different week than they originally registered for if there are spots available. Tuition may also be put toward a different camp or class if moving to a different week is not an available option.
3. What about COVID?
Health and Safety is our top priority for all campers and staff. While vaccinations are not required to attend camp, they are strongly recommended for all campers and staff. We follow the local and state guidance regarding COVID. As of spring 2022, there is no indoor mask mandate in Oregon. Taborspace, where camp will be held, no longer requires masks indoors. As of now, masks are optional for all campers and staff. IF STATE OR LOCAL GUIDANCE CHANGES, OR IF MASK MANDATES ARE REINSTATED THIS POLICY WILL BE UPDATED TO REFLECT THOSE CHANGES. Please be patient with us and kind to others as we navigate this unprecedented time.
