Summer Theater Camp for Neurodiverse Children

During camp your child will learn a variety of skills in a fun, silly, and authentic theater based camp experience. Campers will learn about problem solving, perspective taking, conversational skills, imitation, feelings, and teamwork from a certified Speech and Language Pathologist. Camp activities will focus on learning these skills through direct teaching, theater games, group activities, and performing skits and scenes.  Children can attend camp for 1, 2, 3, or 4 weeks at a time. Monday -Thursday 9:00-12:00
Each week we will pair a different social skill with a short play. Campers will talk about the social skill in the context of the play as well as theater games, and art activities. We will spend the week rehearsing the play, making sets and costumes, and performing for each other at the end of the week.

Winter Level 1 Acting Class

When: Saturdays 10-11 AM
January 7th-March 11th

Calling all neurodiverse actors! This is a 10 week, fast paced acting program that focuses on the development of social skills using wildly entertaining and wacky theater games and activities. This class will address pragmatic language, reading non-verbal cues, problem solving, teamwork, perspective taking, conversation, and language skills. Each week will focus on an acting skill (imitation of body language/facial expressions, improvisation, use of voice, character development, scene development) that relates to a social skill.  Friends and family can join us for a culminating performance!
This class is taught by a certified Speech and Language Pathologist.
