Speak and Be Heard Theater

Summer Theater Camp for Neurodivergent Children

During camp your child will learn a variety of skills in a fun, silly, and authentic theater based camp experience. Campers will learn about problem solving, perspective taking, conversational skills, imitation, feelings, and teamwork from a certified Speech and Language Pathologist. Camp activities will focus on learning these skills through direct teaching, theater games, group activities, and performing skits and scenes.  Children can attend camp for 1 or 2 weeks at a time. Please take a look at the Frequently Asked Questions page for more information.

Each week we will pair a different social skill with a short play or book. Campers will talk about the social skill in the context of the play as well as theater games, and art activities. We will spend the week rehearsing the play, making sets and costumes, and performing for each other at the end of the week.
